A Web site by and for professional food journalists

The Association of Food Journalists sponsors an annual awards contest. The contest features 11 categories, including Best Section. Prizes include a certificate of honor plus $300 for first place, $200 for second place and $100 for third place. 

The contest is open to any food journalist who writes in the English language; contest fees are $30 per entry for members and $40 for non-members.

Winners are announced during a gala awards banquet held during the annual AFJ convention.
